
Death of Jr. Bandits lacrosse player in Milwaukee car accident
A lacrosse player from Western New York tragically lost his life in a car accident in Milwaukee on Friday evening. The incident occurred at the intersection of North 27 Street and West St. Paul Avenue, where a driver collided with a car carrying six passengers, resulting in the deaths of two individuals at the scene. The driver, aged 41, was apprehended by Milwaukee Police. The deceased passengers have been identified as Marquette University students Scott Michaud and Noah Snyder. Snyder, who hails from Western New York, was a member of the Jr. Bandits lacrosse team. Marquette University issued a statement on Saturday, confirming the identities of the students and highlighting their accomplishments as student-athletes, including being recognized on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team for maintaining a 3.0 GPA. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
