Death of a man in Monroe County due to fireworks mishap
A man from Monroe County, Indiana, tragically lost his life in a fireworks accident. The incident occurred on Saturday evening on West Tabor Hill Road. Emergency responders found Tyler Pinkley, 23, with severe injuries from the fireworks and he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities ruled the incident as accidental. Witnesses recounted that Pinkley was trying to ignite a large mortar by holding it above his head, despite warnings from friends.
