Deadly tour bus accident in Los Angeles area
A tragic event occurred early Sunday morning in the greater Los Angeles area when a tour bus collided with an SUV on the Route 60 freeway in Hacienda Heights. Sadly, the driver of the SUV passed away after the vehicle caught fire and was fully engulfed. The L.A. County Fire Department reported that one person died and 32 individuals were hospitalized, with two in critical condition. Fortunately, the tour bus did not catch on fire, but it sustained significant damage, including a shattered windshield and major front-end damage. According to witness accounts, the crash unfolded very quickly, and despite efforts to prevent it, the collision could not be averted in time.
