
Deadly SUV rollover crash in Las Vegas; DUI charges for driver
A tragic rollover crash near Laughlin resulted in the death of a Las Vegas woman and serious injuries to other passengers, including children. The incident, which occurred on a Sunday afternoon, involved a 34-year-old man named Thomas Bernoudy who lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll over. The crash took place on State Route 163 in Clark County. Bernoudy was driving a 2005 Dodge Durango with ten occupants, several of whom were children. Tragically, a front-seat passenger, 31-year-old Tierra Haywood, lost her life in the crash. Bernoudy, who showed signs of impairment, was found to have THC and marijuana metabolites in his system. Consequently, he is facing 14 charges, including DUI resulting in death and substantial bodily harm, reckless driving, and child abuse. His bail is set at $100,000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for May 22.
