Deadly single-car accident on FM 1419 in Brownsville
The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently looking into a single-vehicle accident that occurred in Brownsville. According to reports, the crash took place on FM 1419, just south of Alaska Road, around 5:02 a.m. on Saturday, April 5th. Initial findings suggest that a male driver in a black Ford Focus was heading north on FM 1419 when he suddenly swerved to the left, skidded off the road, and collided with a tree. The driver, identified as 50-year-old Edgar Alberto Martinez from Brownsville, tragically lost his life due to the injuries sustained in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is currently ongoing.
