Deadly motorcycle crash kills Union City man Saturday
A man tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash that occurred in Erie County over the weekend. The accident involved a 67-year-old Waterford resident and 59-year-old John Driver from Union City. Pennsylvania State Police Corry responded to the scene in Union City Borough on Saturday morning, where Driver was fatally injured. The collision happened when the Waterford resident failed to spot Driver nearing his car and made a left turn onto Route 6 in front of the motorcyclist. The Waterford man sustained no injuries, but Driver was taken to UPMC Hamot where he later passed away from his injuries. The Union City Volunteer Fire Department provided support during the incident.
