Deadly motorcycle crash
A tragic collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle occurred on Monday evening at the intersection of Park Avenue and Lafayette in Terre Haute, Indiana. Deputies responded to a call about a motor vehicle accident at the junction of Clinton Street and Park Avenue around 7:55pm. Upon arriving, they found a man in the intersection receiving CPR from witnesses. Initial findings suggest that a Ram truck was making a turn onto Clinton Street from eastbound Park Avenue while a motorcyclist, running a red light, collided with the truck's rear. The motorcyclist was taken to Union Hospital, where he ultimately passed away from his injuries. Authorities have ruled out drugs or alcohol as contributing factors in the incident.
