Deadly motorcycle accident in Rockford kills 62-year-old motorcyclist
A tragic accident occurred in Rockford on Thursday night, resulting in the death of a 62-year-old motorcyclist. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office reported that the victim was riding a Honda Shadow motorcycle at the intersection of 20th Street and Blackhawk Road around 6 p.m. when he was involved in a collision with a Mercedes. The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the location. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the incident, and no charges have been released at this time.
