Deadly motorcycle accident closes Northeast Marine Drive
A motorcyclist has tragically passed away in Portland after a collision with a car near the junction of Northeast Marine Drive and Northwest 158th Avenue, as reported by Portland Police. Despite the efforts of Portland Fire and Rescue, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. To investigate, the Major Crash Team has closed off Northeast Marine Drive from Northeast 148th Avenue to Northeast 185th Drive. This incident marks the sixth fatal accident involving a motorcyclist in Portland, where a total of 23 traffic-related deaths have occurred this year.
