Deadly Modesto Crash at Sisk Road and Standiford Ave
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of a three-vehicle collision that took place in Modesto, resulting in the tragic death of a local resident. The incident occurred last weekend at the intersection of Sisk Road and Standiford Avenue. According to Modesto Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. The driver, heading south on Sisk Road, first collided with a median pole, then struck another pole before entering oncoming traffic and hitting two other vehicles. The man was taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Medical reasons are suspected to have contributed to the driver's loss of control, with no drugs or alcohol involved.
