Deadly hit-and-run: Bicyclist identified, driver sought
Authorities in St. Louis are seeking information about a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of Jason Lewis, a 27-year-old resident of St. Peters, Missouri. The crash occurred on Tuesday at the intersection of Gravois and Bamberger avenues in the Tower Grove South neighborhood. The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a silver Ford Edge with heavy front-end damage and a red dealer license plate placard at the rear. Police have released images of the suspect vehicle and are asking for the public's help in locating it. The bicyclist was struck by the SUV while crossing lanes, and subsequently hit by three other vehicles. Police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department or CrimeStoppers.
