
Deadly head-on collision kills 2 in Pomona
A tragic accident involving a driver going the wrong way resulted in the loss of two lives in Pomona on Saturday night. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred on the westbound 60 Freeway near Reservoir Street around 11 p.m. The driver was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. Two individuals lost their lives at the scene, and two others were taken to a hospital with their conditions currently unknown. Footage from the incident showed severely damaged vehicles, with one even resting on the freeway's central median. A SigAlert was issued for the carpool lane, as well as lanes #1 and #2, which lasted for approximately three hours.
