Deadly Fire Accident in Signal Hill, California
Incident Report: On July 13th, 2025, at 7 pm, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Cherry Ave just north of 28th St in Signal Hill. When the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived, they found the vehicle fully engulfed with the driver trapped inside who was unfortunately deceased upon their arrival. Signal Hill Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the accident. As a result, Cherry Ave is closed between 28th and 29th for an indefinite period while the investigation takes place. The handling agencies involved are Signal Hill PD and LACOFD.
