Deadly fiery collision in Ashland County
Authorities in Sullivan Township, Ohio are looking into a tragic incident that took place on Friday on State Route 58 in Ashland County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a 2021 GMC Sierra veered off the road and hit a tree, catching fire. The driver, identified as Jason L. Carter of Coolidge, Arizona, managed to escape but sustained severe injuries. Despite being rescued and taken to nearby hospitals, Carter sadly passed away. The circumstances of the crash are currently being examined. There is uncertainty about whether he was wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
