Deadly eight-car collision in Roanoke leads to intersection reopening
UPDATE (9:26) - The Roanoke Police Department has reopened the intersection of Orange Avenue and Plantation Road Northeast to traffic following a fatal crash involving eight vehicles. Unfortunately, one individual passed away at a nearby hospital, and another was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. The intersection remains closed as the investigation is ongoing. Traffic is being redirected north on Plantation Road and south on Kimball Avenue.
