Deadly crash shuts down Lawndale crossing
A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in Lawndale on Monday morning, resulting in one individual losing their life. The incident took place at the Marine and Mansel Avenues junction around 7:30 a.m., as reported by the South Los Angeles Sheriffs Station. Aerial visuals displayed significant damage to the two sedans involved, as scattered car components were observed in the vicinity. One of the cars, a black Hyundai bearing a JLM Environmental emblem on a dislodged door found on the road. The intersection has been shut down while authorities conduct an investigation.
