Deadly crash reported in Muhlenberg County
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Muhlenberg County. A release obtained by Eyewitness News says the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department and KSP responded to the crash on Highway 181. The release says that 61-year-old Nevin Bard of Greenville was driving northbound when his vehicle was struck by a car going southbound. Officials say the driver who struck Bard fell asleep at the wheel. Bard died at the scene, while the other driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. Officials say the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
