Deadly crash on rural road in Barry County
A tragic incident occurred on a rural road in Barry County, resulting in a deadly accident. The incident took place on Thursday morning on Farm Road 2150, located one mile north of Cassville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 2003 Chevy Avalanche veered off the road, hitting a fence and trees before overturning. The driver, a 39-year-old woman from Cassville, was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. This marked the 91st fatality for 2025 in Highway Patrol Troop D's jurisdiction.
