Deadly crash on Chicken Foot Road: NCSHP
A recent accident in Cumberland County, North Carolina resulted in one fatality and two injuries on Tuesday afternoon. North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred at the intersection of Yarborough Road and Chicken Foot Road. Authorities shared that a Dodge Durango attempted a left turn onto Chicken Foot Road, leading to a collision with a Ford Explorer traveling on Yarborough Road. Tragically, a passenger in the Ford Explorer lost their life due to the crash, with another individual being airlifted to a medical facility. A person from the Dodge Durango was transported to Cape Fear Hospital for treatment. The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.
