
Deadly crash involving cyclist reported at I-35 frontage road, Old Settlers
ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) -- Police said someone died in a crash involving a cyclist on the frontage road of Interstate 35 in Round Rock on Tuesday. The Round Rock Police Department posted on X shortly after noon that officers were responding to a "fatal crash involving a cyclist" on the northbound side of the I-35 frontage road at East Old Settlers Boulevard, near the McDonald's. All westbound traffic on the frontage road was closed due to the crash, according to police. That closure runs from North Mays Street to I-35, including the bridge, police said.
