Deadly crash in Walworth County; collision between semi truck and SUV results in 1 fatality
A fatal crash took place in Walworth County on Thursday, July 3, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident involved two vehicles near the intersection of Highway 14 and County Highway K at around 4 p.m. According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, preliminary findings indicate that the SUV driver, traveling eastbound on Highway 14, attempted a left turn onto northbound CTH K, colliding with a westbound semi-truck. The SUV driver, who was identified as a 47-year-old man, was not wearing a seatbelt and tragically died at the scene after being partially ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing with the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
