Deadly crash in Racine County; collision involving 2 motorcycles and an SUV results in one fatality and two injuries
A tragic incident occurred in Racine County on Sunday evening, July 13, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The incident involved two motorcycles and an SUV on S. Beaumont Avenue near Cassandra Court in the Town of Dover. Emergency responders from the Kansasville Fire & Rescue Department and Racine County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene around 6 p.m. to find two damaged motorcycles and a GMC Terrain SUV. The crash involved the driver and a passenger on one motorcycle, the driver of the other motorcycle, and the driver and a front-seat passenger in the SUV. Tragically, the 72-year-old Illinois man operating one of the motorcycles succumbed to his injuries, while the other two individuals were rushed to Froedtert Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Racine County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
