Deadly crash in Gaines County - KMID
GAINES COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - Christina Krahn Loeppky, age 32, of Seminole, Texas, died in a three vehicle crash on March 27, 2025. Preliminary information revealed that a Jeep Wrangler was traveling southwest on FM 181. A Chevrolet Cruze was traveling southwest on FM 181 in front of the Jeep Wrangler and was stopped in the roadway, attempting to make a left turn onto CR 303. Then a Chevrolet 3500 with a towed trailer, was traveling in the opposite lane northeast on FM 181. The driver of the Jeep Wrangler failed to control their speed, striking the Chevrolet Cruze from behind. The Chevrolet Cruze then hit the left side of the Chevrolet 3500's trailer. The driver of the Jeep WrangleR was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on the scene by Justice of the Peace Patrick Kissick. This crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
