Deadly crash in Crawford County results in one fatality, two injuries

Crawford County, Pennsylvania (WJET/WFXP) — Tragically, a fatal crash occurred in Crawford County late Saturday night resulting in the loss of one life. The incident took place at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Saturday on State Highway 77, south of State Highway 198, located in Blooming Valley Borough. Pennsylvania State Police reported that two vehicles, identified as vehicle one and vehicle two, were travelling in opposite directions on State Highway 77. It was disclosed that the westbound vehicle, vehicle one, veered into the eastbound lane, causing a head-on collision. Upon responding to the scene, authorities discovered the deceased operator of vehicle one, a 29-year-old male resident of Meadville. The driver and passenger of vehicle two were transported to Meadville Medical Center for necessary medical care. At present, the name of the deceased male has not been made public.
