Deadly crash closes lanes on interstate in downtown Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A deadly crash caused lane closures on a Las Vegas interstate Friday afternoon and reopened three hours later. According to Nevada State Police, the crash happened on the southbound lanes of I-11 just north of Casino Center. Police said the crash occurred at around 11:15 a.m. and involved an SUV and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators. All lanes of travel along I-11 southbound near Casino Center reopened shortly before 4 p.m.
