Deadly Collision Recorded in Barstow, California
On the evening of July 14, 2025, a tragic incident occurred on the Southbound 15 Freeway near Hodge Road in Barstow. A vehicle was reported to be stalled in the slow lane, and despite a Good Samaritan's efforts to illuminate it with a spotlight, a semi-truck collided with the car from the rear, resulting in extensive damage. Emergency responders from CHP, County Fire, and Desert Ambulance arrived at the scene to provide assistance, but unfortunately, the driver of the sedan did not survive. The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The impact was so severe that the truck of the vehicle ended up in the back seat.
