Deadly collision involving pickup truck and van in Carroll County
According to Maryland State Police, a man lost his life in a collision that occurred overnight in northern Carroll County. The collision involved a van and a pickup truck on Maryland Route 97 near Humbert Schoolhouse Road at around 2 a.m. on Saturday. Reportedly, the pickup truck crossed into oncoming traffic, leading to the tragic incident. The driver of the van was fatally injured at the scene, while the truck driver was transported to York Hospital for injuries. Investigations into the crash continue, and charges are expected to be filed.
