Deadly Collision at Intersection of 200th St. E and Ave. G-8 in Lancaster
A serious collision involving two vehicles resulted in the closure of all lanes near 200th Street East and Avenue G-8 in Antelope Valley on Wednesday evening. The crash, reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), occurred at about 5:49 p.m. on July 30, just south of the Hi Vista area in Los Angeles County. Tragically, one person, potentially a 12-year-old boy, lost their life at the scene. Following the severity of the collision, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office was called in, and tow trucks were dispatched to remove the vehicles blocking the roadway. For traffic management, the Los Angeles County Roads Department lent assistance while authorities conducted an investigation.
