Deadly accident reveals murder case
Authorities have taken a suspect, Tyler Liggins, into custody in connection with a homicide in North Baltimore. Liggins, 29, is facing charges related to assault. According to reports, a fatal incident occurred on July 19 on I-83 in Cockeysville, where a car overturned several times resulting in the ejection of the victim, Travon Booth. It was determined that Booth, who was registered to the vehicle, was involved in an altercation with an unnamed suspect prior to the fatal accident. Surveillance footage captured Booth entering an apartment building followed by the unnamed suspect and Liggins, carrying something that appeared to be a body. Liggins is said to have placed the body in Booth's car before the unnamed suspect drove off and later crashed. Following Liggins' arrest, he reportedly confessed to assaulting Booth with his foster brother, and admitted to moving the body to the car parked in the lot. A medical examiner concluded that Booth's death was a result of homicide caused by multiple blunt force injuries.
