Deadly accident on Lisbon funicular railway kills 15, injures many

This particular funicular, known as the Elevador de Gloria, serves the Baixa and Bairro Alto neighborhoods of Lisbon, according to the Lisbon Tourism Association. The city boasts two other operational funicular railways apart from the one involved in the tragic accident.
