Deadly Accident on Interstate 10 Freeway, Close to Palm Drive in Palm Springs
A fatal accident was reported on the westbound side of Interstate 10 near the Palm Drive/Gene Autry exit in Palm Springs, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident took place on September 4th when a vehicle went off the road and into a ditch. Despite efforts to save the driver's life, paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene. The Riverside County Coroner's Office is handling the investigation, and the identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
