Deadly accident near South San Jose closes McKean Road
A deadly accident resulted in the closure of a road close to South San Jose in Santa Clara County on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place at McKean Road and San Vicente Avenue in Almaden, as reported by CHP's Hollister-Gilroy area office on social media at about 7:25 a.m. The intersection is in proximity to the Rancho San Vicente Avenue Open Preserve. Due to the crash, all lanes in the vicinity are currently shut. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.
