Deadly accident in Sunflower County results in one fatality and two injuries
A tragic accident occurred in Sunflower County resulting in the death of a 33-year-old man named Martez Duncan. Reports from the Mississippi Highway Patrol indicate that Duncan was driving a Hyundai Elantra which collided with a Ram 1500 driven by 20-year-old Lakeland Clark. Duncan lost his life in the accident, while Clark was taken to the hospital for treatment. Another passenger in Clark's vehicle, John Gordon, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for medical attention. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
