
Dead and five injured in Spartanburg County collision
One individual has tragically passed away and five people have been injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Friday morning in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The incident, on South Carolina Highway 9 near Brandon Circle around 7:45 a.m., involved three vehicles: a 2003 Chevrolet SUV, a 2006 Jeep SUV, and a 2008 Honda Coupe. The collision started when the Chevrolet, attempting to turn north onto SC-9, struck the Jeep before going on to hit the Honda. Among the six victims involved, three were in the Chevrolet, one in the Jeep, and two in the Honda, including a child. All injured parties were taken to the hospital, and sadly, one of the Chevrolet passengers did not survive their injuries, as confirmed by highway patrol authorities.
