Dana Hills students grieve loss of 16-year-old in harbor crash.
Friends paid their respects to Becca Cispedes, a 16-year-old Dana Hills High School sophomore, at a memorial following a tragic accident where the truck she was driving hit a tree. The incident occurred in Dana Point near Island Way and Dana Point Harbor Drive. Becca was accompanied by five other teenagers at the time of the crash. Mark Przybylak, a Good Samaritan, rushed to help Becca after the collision, holding her hand and offering a prayer. Tragically, Becca lost her life, while a female student and two young men remain in critical condition. Two other students sustained minor injuries. The high school community is mourning the loss, with counselors and therapy dogs available on-campus for those in need of support. The accident has prompted students to reflect on their own driving behaviors and commit to being more cautious on the road.
