Dallas police link same vehicle to hit-and-run and chain-reaction crash injuring 7

Authorities reported that the vehicle linked to the suspect in the Bishop Arts district chain-reaction collision on Saturday, that resulted in seven individuals being hospitalized, was also connected to a hit-and-run incident earlier that same night, as per law enforcement. The crash occurred near north Tyler Street and west Davis Street around 11 p.m. It was stated that the suspect collided with a stationary vehicle at a traffic light, leading to a chain-reaction involving two additional vehicles at the signal. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the seven individuals injured to the hospital, where six of them were described as being in a stable state, while the suspect was reported to be in critical condition by the Dallas Police Department. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
