Crash on Bay Bridge leaves 8 injured
A multiple-vehicle collision occurred on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge in the early hours of Saturday morning, resulting in injuries to at least eight individuals, with one person sustaining life-threatening injuries. The incident took place on the eastbound lanes of the Bay Bridge on the eastern span east of Treasure Island around 4 a.m. on Saturday. Emergency responders, including the San Francisco Fire Department, attended the scene. One severely injured individual was taken to Highland Hospital, while four others with less severe injuries were also transported to a hospital. Three individuals declined transport.
