Crash involving Cumberland school bus
An investigation is underway in Cumberland following a head-on collision between a school bus and a car on Nate Whipple Highway. The incident occurred Thursday morning around 10 a.m. According to authorities, the car's driver drifted across the center line and crashed into the Durham School Services bus. Fortunately, both drivers did not appear to sustain visible injuries, although the car driver later collapsed after exiting the vehicle. Emergency responders provided CPR, successfully reviving him before transporting him to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, there were no students on board the bus at the time of the accident. Durham School Services confirmed their cooperation with the local authorities' investigation.
