Crash involving Binghamton police car during response to deadly accident - WIVT
A Binghamton police officer, who was responding to a fatal crash on Court Street, was involved in a three-vehicle accident yesterday. The officer was heading east on Main Street with lights and siren on when their vehicle collided with a white SUV at the intersection with Front Street. The impact caused the SUV to crash into a black Cadillac stopped at the light next to Peterson's Tavern. Fortunately, the officer sustained minor injuries, and the SUV driver received medical evaluation at the scene. The extent of damage to the police car is unknown, as an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
