Crash and vehicle fire close westbound I-96 near Okemos
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A crash has closed westbound I-96 in Alaeidon Township as of 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. A vehicle fire was also reported in the same stretch of road. A crash occurred near Okemos Road and Exit 110, according to the MDOT drive map, and the interstate is closed at mile markers 109 and 112, near Meridian Rd. The drive map also reports a vehicle fire further east on the road, past Meridian Rd, near exit 117. 6 News is currently on the way to the scene.
