CPD: Fatal traffic crash on Reading Road under investigation
A deadly crash happened early Saturday morning on Reading Road in Paddock Hills, according to the Cincinnati Police Department. The crash occurred on the 4300 block of Reading Road at 12:37 a.m. The vehicle was a 2013 Ford Explorer. It was being operated by a 53-year-old male. The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the UC Medical Center. The driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released. It is unknown if the driver was wearing a seatbelt. Speed and impairment are being investigated as contributing factors to the crash. Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic and Homicide Units are investigating the crash.
