CPD: 1 injured in two-vehicle crash involving motorcycle
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- One person was injured after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Thursday night in Chesapeake, according to police. A call came in at approximately 9:20 p.m. in reference to an accident in the area of Chesapeake Expressway and Mount Pleasant Road. Police say a motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. There were no other injuries reported. Northbound Route 168 was closed at Hanbury Road due to the accident, but all lanes have since reopened. The investigation is ongoing.
