Court establishes $300,000 bail for teenager involved in Milwaukee accident causing family's death.
17-year-old Dashauna Egerson faces serious charges, including reckless homicide, after a tragic car crash in Milwaukee resulted in the deaths of a mother and her two sons. During her court appearance, Court Commissioner Barry Phillips expressed the severity of the situation, calling it a nightmare for everyone involved. Prosecutors revealed that Egerson caused the collision by running a red light. The incident began when 19-year-old Trevon Loston picked up Egerson and a 16-year-old girl in a stolen vehicle, instructing Egerson to drive. Despite not having a driver's license, Egerson drove the vehicle while being chased by the police, leading to the fatal crash. Initially denying involvement, she later confessed when shown incriminating footage. Phillips emphasized that despite her age, Egerson should have known better than to drive without a license. Bail has been set at $300,000 for Egerson.
