Coroner identifies pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle in the Upstate
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died after being hit by a vehicle. The coroner said they were called to the 1200 block of South Pleasantburg Drive just after 12:20 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found a man who had been hit by a vehicle.The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner has identified the victim as Walter Stanley Terlitsky, 64.An autopsy revealed his cause of death to be blunt force trauma, and his death has been ruled an accident. The crash remains under investigation.
