Coroner identifies fisherman who died in Marlboro County boating accident
MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- The identity of a 68-year-old fisherman whose body was recovered from a pond last week in Marlboro County has been released. John L. McCall Jr. of Bennettsville died in a boating accident on Thursday, Coroner De'Aron Smith said. It happened at a pond on Mayberry Road near Tatum. No additional information was immediately available.
