Coroner identifies 2 victims of plane crash near Centennial Airport

The Douglas County Coroner's Office has identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a recent small plane crash near Centennial Airport. Perry "Matt" Feeney, aged 52, from Arvada, and Lee "Rob" Hill, aged 64, from Greenwood Village, were the victims of the crash that occurred early one Friday morning. There is ongoing investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board into the circumstances surrounding the crash of the Beech BE35 aircraft, which crashed and caught fire. The plane went down behind a large warehouse on South Peoria Street, posing a fire risk to nearby structures. Desmond Brown, who witnessed the crash, shared his account with FOX31, expressing the immediate realization that survival was unlikely for those aboard.
