Coroner confirms fatal crash victim is missing Upstate woman
The Greenville County Coroner's Office confirmed the victim of a fatal crash is a woman who went missing on Sunday. On Tuesday morning, authorities discovered a crash on Highway 14 near Berry Mill Road.The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a Lexus sedan was traveling north when the car went off the road, down an embankment, hit a tree and overturned. The driver died at the scene.The coroner later identified the driver as 44-year-old Susanna Sauvola, who was last seen in the area in the early morning hours of Sunday. Sauvola was reported missing to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office by family on Sunday when she did not return home.This is an active investigation with the Greenville County Coroner's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
