Cooper-Young pub reopens after car accident on patio
A restaurant in Cooper-Young, Memphis, is set to reopen on Thursday following a recent incident where a vehicle crashed into its patio. Celtic Crossing, the restaurant in question, announced their reopening on July 3 via Facebook, after their front porch was damaged in the accident earlier in the week. While there may be some structural changes as they clean up and rebuild, the restaurant assures customers that they will maintain the same cozy Celtic atmosphere. They expressed gratitude towards the City of Memphis, emergency responders, contractors, staff, and loved ones who helped them recover from the incident. In addition, the owners of Celtic Crossing are debuting a new restaurant called Maeve's Tavern in Collierville as their third dining establishment, after Bog and Barley. Maeve's Tavern, located in Collierville Town Square, features a patio and private dining spaces, with plans to start serving dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. Regular business hours will resume on July 4 with lunch and dinner options available.
