Concert for 3-month-old crash survivor: 'Hope is Home'

Beverly's Terrace Plaza Playhouse in Washington Terrace, Utah is hosting a special performance of The Wizard of Oz to help 3-month-old Everett Benedict, who is recovering from a serious car accident. The accident on Aug. 5 left Everett with a traumatic brain injury, and he has been in the PICU since. Although the road to recovery continues, Everett is now breathing on his own and responding to his mother's voice. The benefit night will take place this Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. at The Playhouse, with all ticket sales and concession proceeds going towards supporting the Benedict family. The Playhouse's director of marketing mentioned that this event is about more than just theater – it's an opportunity for the community to show love and strength to the Benedicts in their time of need. For those who wish to contribute further, donations can be made directly to the family via Venmo: @Jayson-Benedict-1. Let's show our support for the Benedict family and join together to show that they are not alone on this journey. Stay updated on social media via @foreverettstrong and #foreverettstrong.
