
Colorado woman, 21, detained for suspected DUI in I-25 wrong-way collision
A 21-year-old woman from Colorado has been arrested and is facing charges related to a collision involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 25 in Greenwood Village. The incident occurred when Ava Maria Rozsits drove her vehicle in the wrong direction on the interstate near Orchard Road, causing a three-car collision. Rozsits, who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time, has been charged with DUI, careless driving, and driving while her license was restricted. Two individuals involved in the crash were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Rozsits was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Center, posted bail at $1,000, and is scheduled to appear in court on September 8th. She has not yet secured legal representation.
